On Colonialism

After Thelma and the Weeze's breeze through London, I was lucky enough to have another wonderful houseguest stay a few days. This time, she was not here solely to see me! Shock, I know! But, as one needs to type up over a hundred pages of notes on French colonialism in India (viewed from the British perspective), one heads to the British Library every day, all to benefit her dissertation. And I got to be her research assistant. We took a long, rainy stroll through Hyde Park (stopping only to dip our already wet feet in the Princess of Wales Fountain and happy-hour under a tree...), visited the Tate Modern and the Wellcome Collection (DIRT!), had a sunset picnic in Regent's Park and had numerous delicious dinners at the pub, the pizzaria and our home.

Thanks for staying at Buckingham Cottage, my friend. I had the best time!
